It was all Team USA in the third as their defense continued to shut down Canada while the offense scored five more times powered by five different scorers as the USA Women increased their lead to 13-2. Canada regrouped after the third and came out firing as Amanda Amorosa connected on a goal to cut it to 13-3. Team USA didn’t step off the gas though as Captain Maggie Steffens ripped a goal in off a great pass from Haralabidis to make it 14-3. From there the teams exchanged goals with Rachel Fattal putting the final nail in the coffin as Team USA prevailed 17-5.
