With the reveal of the 2021-2022 event schedule Thursday, USA Swimming announced the dates and locations of three upcoming National Junior Championships.
First, December 8-11, 2021, the Winter Junior Championships will take place. The East version of the meet will be held at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina, while the West version of the meet will be held at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas.
There will only be 1 Junior National Championships in the summer, and it will be held August 8-12 in Irvine, California, picking up just two days after the conclusion of the 2021 National Championships, or “Senior Nationals.”
December 2022 will herald in new iterations of the Winter Junior Championships, though with at least one different host. In 2022, the West meet will take place in Federal Way, Washington, while the East’s location has yet to be determined, both from December 7-10, 2022.
