QUOTES
“We saw a lot of everything tonight. There were a ton of ups and downs. I saw a team that made every event matter, and they fought all night long. It was exciting and I am particularly proud of our men’s team. They had not quit in them all the way up until the end of the meet. It came down to the very end and they didn’t even come up short, they tied the final event and so that was an interesting way to end a meet. Our divers were unbelievable today. Margo O’Meara ended up breaking a pool record in the 1-meter dive after returning from injury.” – Head coach Brian Barnes on his overall thoughts after the match.

“It was really cool to see Margo break the pool record in the 1-meter dive in her first meet back since returning from surgery. She will be back on the 3-meter board very soon and we are all excited for that. For the other women, we have deep squad, so it is nice to see us place well tonight. I think with us being able to sweep early in the match with the parent and alumni in attendance, it allowed our athletes to generate a lot of momentum and was awesome to see.” – Head diving coach Nunzio Esposito on how the divers fared in the first home meet of the season.
