BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Tennessee swimming & diving is set to go on the road for a dual meet against SEC foe Texas A&M on Friday afternoon at the Rec Sports Natatorium.
The meet will begin at noon ET and will be streamed live on SEC Network+. In addition, fans can also follow along with live scoring on MeetMobile.
UT last competed on October 12, when the No. 6 women defeated No. 3 Louisville in Knoxville, while the sixth-ranked men’s team narrowly lost to the No. 12 Cardinals. Tennessee then had a two-week team break, however several Tennessee athletes competed in international events during this time.
Tennessee’s men’s team boasts a 3-1 record all time over Texas A&M in dual meets. The women hold a 1-1 record against the Aggies during duals.

Scouting the Aggies
The Aggies are currently undefeated in all three of their contests so far this season. The 13th-ranked men’s and No. 25 women’s teams opened up their seasons against UIW at home, before going on the road to South Carolina and Virginia Tech. Last season, the Aggies men’s team finished 14th at the NCAA Championships.
Tennessee Roster Loaded with Conference Experience Headed Into First SEC Meet
UT brings back 78 total SEC medals across the roster, which ranks first in the conference by 17. With SEC Swimmer of the Year Jordan Crooks and SEC Diver of the Year Bryden Hattie returning to Rocky Top this season, Tennessee is the first school to return the SOTY and DOTY to the same roster since the award’s inception. Nick Stone joins the pair with a SEC yearly honor of his own, as he took home Freshman Diver of the Year last season. Four Vols and Lady Vols medaled at NCAAs last year, and all four are back this year including NCAA Champion Jordan Crooks.
Nine Athletes Compete in International Events
Over the past week, nine current Vols and Lady Vols competed in international events. Eight UT members were at the Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile, while Mona McSharry was the sole Tennessee representative who was at the World Aquatics Swimming World Cup in Budapest, Hungary. As a whole, the group collected 13 podium finishes with six gold medals to wrap up a successful week of competition.
