The Gold Coast Aquatic Centre has been busy over the last few weeks, and next week will host the Oceania Swimming Championships.
2024 Aussie Age Champs Day 3: Flynn Southam Goes 1:46.43 FR, Joshua Conias Hits 22.35 FR
Flynn Southam (18) hit a 1:46.43 200 free while Joshua Conias (16) swam 22.35 in the 50 free, both some of the fastest times in their age groups all-time.
2023 Australian Age Champs: Olympia Pope (14) Cracks 1:10 in 100 Breast with 1:09.76
Pope entered the meet with a career best of 1:11.09 and wasted no time, throwing down a 1:09.89 in prelims to take more than a second off her best time.
