13-year old Chase Smith of Indian Creek Aquatics in Indiana is having a challenging week. The son of the team’s head coach, Brad Smith, has been diagnosed with cancer, an experience that no child at that age should have to go through.
We hear that Chase has some very important doctors appointments coming up, and thought that they should know that SwimSwam and the entire swimming community supports them.
The hashtag #ChaseStronghas become a proving ground for teams around the country to show their support. Let’s get it trending, in Indianapolis, in the United States, in the world, on Facebook, on Twitter, and everywhere, just to make sure the Smith family knows that we all stand with them.
