JOB DESCRIPTION
Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics (AGUA) is a nationally competitive swim team of 300+ athletes with a rich 20 year history in United States swimming. We are located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side with a satellite program in Battery Park City (see www.asphaltgreen.org) and (www.aguaswim.com). The team is focused on excellence and inclusion, with a robust scholarship program and strong institutional support.
We are seeking an experienced and energized Coach to lead the 10 and under groups. Passion and commitment along with strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- 15-20 hours of on deck coaching per week
- Various administrative tasks relating to the team, meet arrangements and individual performance
- Participation in weekends/swim meets as required
Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- ASCA Level 2 or above required
- 2+ years of coaching experience
- Knowledge of current technical and training philosophies
- Working knowledge of Team Unify and Team Manager
