On March 11-12, 2017 Swim Across America will be hosting the 2nd annual Swim Across America Cup water polo tournament at the UNC Boyman Gray Memorial Pool. This is a water polo tournament that includes the Rolesville Granite Falls Makos, Richmond Swim RVA, Raleigh Seahawks, and the Greensboro Star water polo teams. This is a team invite event, but can include individual registration as well.
In addition to the water polo tournament, we will take part in the USA Waterpolo movement #FLOPFRIDAY. Started by the USA women’s water polo team, #FLOPFRIDAY has become a fun way for athletes to unwind after a week of hard practices. Athletes who raise their suggested minimum of $100 can automatically participate. All other athletes, spectators, and parents can participate if they donate an additional $10. However, there will be limited slots so athletes who raise the suggested minimum get the slots first. Thanks to USA Waterpolo, our #FLOPFRIDAY event will be showcased on all of their social media outlets!
And thanks to KAP7 International, Inc. the top individual fundraiser will get a signed Olympic cap and a poster signed by the entire 2016 Olympic team.
The second highest individual fundraiser will get a poster signed by the entire 2016 Olympic team. The highest fundraising team will receive a poster signed by the 2016 Olympic team.
