SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall women’s swimming and diving team earned its first win of 2025, and fifth of the season, with a 122-98 win over Wagner. The meet featured a shuffled Pirates lineup ahead of tomorrow’s meet against Delaware.
Diving
In the 1-meter program, Nikki Pawar found herself back on the top step of the podium for the first time since her injury early in the season. Pawar’s score of 223.27 points gave her a narrow victory over her two fellow Pirate podium-mates. Amy Kugleman earned second place with a score of 218.10 points, while Sarah Behrman earned third place with 216.00 points.
Meanwhile, in the 3-meter board, Behrman was the highest-placing with a score of 216.97. The remaining two Pirates claimed the final two podium places, with Pawar claiming second place (209.25 points) and Kugleman claiming third place (194.10 points).
Swimming
The star of the meet on the women’s side against Wagner was Natalie Heim. Heim claimed her first of two victories on the day in the 200 Freestyle. He wire-to-wire victory over teammate Allie Waggoner landed her a time of 1:52.43. Later on in the meet, she would claim her second victory of the day in the 500 Freestyle, beating out Mandy Zajdzinski and earning a time of 5:04.06 in the process. Ultimately, Waggoner came out on top with a time of 5:00.47 to Heim’s 5:00.81. Heim also claimed victory in the 200 Freestyle with a time of 1:52.20.
Heim was not the only Pirate to claim victory, however. Lea Moeller earned her overall victory in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 53.61, just over half a second clear of teammate Carys Graville. Yet, despite those being the only wins for the Pirates, excluding relays, the Pirates won this meet off of strong podium swims.
Alongside her second place in the 500 Freestyle, Waggoner finished second in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 59.71. Despite not winning the 200 IM, Mia Sunseri earned second place in the event with a time of 2:12.57. Naima Hazell earned second place in the 50 Free with a time of 24.26, missing out on first by 0.06 seconds. The final key second-place finish came from Moeller, who finished on the second step in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:07.05.
The Pirates closed the meet with the 200 Freestyle Relay with a dominant win, securing the team overall victory. The team of Hazell, Moeller, Zajdzinski and Heim capped off the meet by touching the wall with a time of 1:38.35

The Pirates return to action on Saturday, January 25, down in Newark, Delaware, when they take on Delaware in Rawstrom Natatorium. The meet is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m.
SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall men’s swimming and diving team dominated their first home meet of 2025 with a 159-64 victory over Wagner. The meet saw the Pirates tune up their skills ahead for the intense end-of-season stretch.
Diving
Once again, on the one-meter board, freshman Nick Graham continued his dominant run of form this season with another victory. Graham earned the top spot with a six-dive score of 316.87 points. Alongside Graham, Trevor Post earned second-place finish closely behind with a score of 307.42 points. Rounding out the podium was senior Quinn Murtha, in his second meet back from injury, with a score of 294.97 points
On the three-meter board, a different Pirate found his way onto the top step. This time, Post earned the top score with 310.50 points, while Graham earned second with a score of 301.57. Another freshman Pirate, Kiran Natarajan, landed on the third step of the podium with a score of 229.05 points.
Swimming
The Pirates opened the meet with a clear, dominant victory in the 200 Medley Relay. The team of Chris Jackson, Ben Endersby, Michael Klimaszewski and Evan Wilson produced a wire-to-wire win with a time of 1:32.41, a few tenths faster than the time that the previous lineup swam against NJIT the week prior.
Toma Adam kicked off the individual program with a clear 0.70 second victory in the 200 Freestyle with a time 1:44.56. Teammate Clil Halevi earned a close second-place finish behind Adam with a time of 1:45.20. This duo would each earn a second place finishes in later individual events, with Adam earning second in the 100 Freestyle and Halevi finishing second in the 500 Freestyle.
In the 200 IM, Kevin Cary came back after being in third after the first two laps to claim overall victory with a time of 1:52.27. Behind Cary, a pair of Pirates earned themselves podium places. Klimaszewski finished second with a time of 1:55.26, while Jake Karulf earned third with a time of 1:55.90. Cary would later secure victory over Adam and Klimaszewski in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 45.74.
A trio of Pirates secured solo victories during the meet, as well. For the second straight dual meet, Evan Wilson secured overall victory in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 21.66. Sean Vizzard rebounded from his defeat against NJIT with victory in the 500 Free against Wagner with a time of 4:40.66. The final member of that trio of victors was Balint Marosi. Marosi dominantly won the 100 backstroke with a time of 50.09, over two seconds clear of Kaedin Duong in second place.
To cap off a dominant victory, the team of Adam, Endersby, Marosi and Cary won the 200 Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:24.06.

South Orange, NJ – The Wagner Swim & Dive teams faced Seton Hall in a dual meet on Friday. The women’s team came up short against the Pirates, losing 122-98, while the men’s team was defeated 159-64.
For the women, sophomore Rebekka Luoto had a standout performance, claiming first place in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:10.10 and in the 100-yard backstroke, clocking in at 58.83. Luoto also contributed to a first-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay, teaming up with graduate student Allie D’Allegro, senior Shamiya Guirre, and freshman Lovisa Ramsten to finish with a time of 1:47.45.
D’Allegro secured another victory for the Seahawks by taking first place in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:06.42. Freshman Lovisa Ramsten also made her mark by winning the 100-yard butterfly in 58.65. The women’s 200-yard freestyle relay team, consisting of Shamiya Guirre, senior Madison Petricevic, sophomore Daniela Liranzo, and freshman Mia Goodale, earned a second-place finish with a time of 1:42.46.
On the men’s side, senior Robert Wagner led the charge by winning the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 51.55. Wagner also contributed to a first-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay alongside graduate student Enrico Mancardo and sophomores Manuel Villalpando and Adrian Andes Moreno, clocking in at 1:34.07.
In the 100-yard breaststroke, Moreno took first place with a time of 58.29, while freshman Max Wameling secured second place with a time of 59.46. The men’s 200-yard freestyle relay team, composed of Robert Wagner, juniors Joel Knappi and Alex Magditch, and sophomore Seenan Noonan, finished in second place with a time of 1:25.61.
The Seahawks will next host LIU on Friday, January 31st, at the Spiro Sports Center.
