The last college meet still standing from the fallout of the closure of the Belmont Plaza Pool for inspection and likely major repairs (if not permanent closure) has been cleared off of the schedule; the Division III Southern California Intercollegiat Athletic Conference SCIAC has moved its men’s and women’s Championships to La Mirada, following suit of the largely Division II PCSC.
The SCIAC is, as the name implies, made up of several Southern California teams, dominated by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps: the squad that won both the men’s and women’s championships last year. The University of the Redlands and Pomona-Pitzer are the other big powers in the league.
What’s really unique about this conference is that all 9 members have both men’s and women’s teams: an increasing rarity in collegiate athletics (though much more common at the Division III level). In fact, the league only has 8 football teams. The conference also has a really interesting way of determining the meet champion: they combine results from in-season dual meets with the standings at the conference championship to determine the overall champion.
Last year, this meet was moved to the South Gate Pool; that meet was indoors, though this year will be moved outside.

Personally, I don’t see why you wouldn’t use an indoor pool if one like the East LA indoor pool is available.
