Tommy Eaton of Cumming, Georgia has announced his verbal commitment to swim for Florida State University beginning in the fall of 2020. He is a member of SwimAtlanta as well as competing for Forsyth Central High School.

A 2019 Scholastic All-American, Eaton will provide depth for the Seminoles in multiple events. At the 2019 NCSA Junior Championships Eaton took 32nd in the 100 breast, going a 57.10 in finals. This summer at the Georgia Senior State Long Course Championships he qualified for finals in three events. He took fourth in both the 200 meter butterfly (2:04.75) and 50 meter breaststroke (30.35), as well as sixth in the 50 meter butterfly (26.09). At the 2019 6-7A State Championship last spring Eaton finished fifth in the 100 butterfly, going a 51.23 in finals.
