Pro Swim Series Distance Day Mesa Arizona – Photo Vault

The swimming action is hot in Mesa Arizona for the USA Swimming Arena Pro Swim Series stop.  There was a lot of attention surrounding the Michael Phelps press conference in the afternoon, but come evening the racing kicked off with the women’s 1500 and men’s 800 freestyle events.  World record holder Katie Ledecky cruised to the title while Marcelo Acosta took the men’s event.  Here’ some of what swim photographer Mike Lewis captured for us.
