Lauren Pitzer and Jack Dolan are among the top seeds on psych sheets for the 2016 Futures Championships in Austin, Texas.
We ranked Pitzer as the #6 NCAA recruit in her class last month, and she’s really showing off her versatility on the Austin Futures psych sheet. Mostly known for her mid-sprint freestyle prowess, Pitzer meets the Futures standard in a number of “off” events. She’s the top seed in the 800 free, 1500 free and 100 fly. She’ll also swim the 200 fly and 200 IM.
Pitzer swims for the Lakeside Aquatic Club.
The 15-year-old Dolan is entered in 4 events for Rockwood Swim Club, holding the top seed in two of them. He leads the 50 free and 100 fly and will swim the 200 free and 200 back in addition.
It’s local club Nitro Swimming that holds the early relay advantages. Nitro has the top seed in 4 of 6 relay races. The other two are the girls 400 and 800 free relays, where Pitzer helps Lakeside have the psych sheet advantage.
