Vica Dow, a current high school senior from Phoenix, Arizona, has committed to swim for Division II Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado. Dow will graduate from Xavier College Prep High School in spring 2020 and join the Maverick’s class of 2024.
Dow is a current year-round swimmer for Pitchfork Aquatics along with swimming for her high school team at Xavier College Prep. She is a four-time member of Arizona’s Interscholastic Association Division I First Team and has been a finalist in all Arizona Swimming Short and Long Course Championships from 2016-2019.
In addition, Dow was named Most Valuable Swimmer for Xavier College Prep during her freshman year of high school and was part of Xavier’s DI State Championship title in 2017.

With her current best times, Dow would have had multiple finals performances with the Mavericks at the 2020 RMAC Championships. Most notably, Dow would have placed 8th in both the 100 backstroke (58.59) and 200 backstroke (2:09.15).

At the RMAC conference championships this year, the Mavericks placed 1st as a team, nearly 400 points ahead of the 2nd place team.
Dow will begin her swimming career at Colorado Mesa University beginning fall 2020.
