The 2014 New South Wales State Open Championships which will be held from February 28th to March 2nd at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre will play host to not only some of Australia’s top swimmers, but will also see some top international competitors as well.
The men’s competition will include Matthew Abood, Kenneth To, Mack Horton, Jordan Harrison, Ashley Delaney, Thomas Fraser–Holmes, James Magnussen, James Roberts, Cameron McEvoy, David McKeon and Daniel Arnamnart.
While some of the top women who will be competing include Alicia Coutts, Emily Seebohm, Brittany Elmslie, Belinda Hocking, Bronte Barratt, Meagen Nay, Kylie Palmer, and Emma McKeon.
South Korean star Park Tae Hwan will be competing in the 50, 100, 200, 400 and 1500 freestyle while 50 backstroke world champion Camille Lacourt of France will be taking part in the 50 and 100 backstroke events.
Japanese youth team members Kohei Goto will compete in the men’s 100m and 200m Breaststroke and Kanako Watanabe will compete in the women’s 100m and 200m Breaststroke.
