Two of Hawaii’s top swimming prospects signed NLIs to head to the continental United States next season.
Jasmine Mau, one of the top female prospects in the nation, has signed on with with the California Golden Bears, giving them a stud sprint butterflyer in next year’s freshman class. Mau swims for Punahou High School and Kamehameha Swim Club. Her top times are 52.77 in the 100 fly and 1:56.60 in the 200 fly.
Ryan Stack is a sprint freestyler who has signed on with the Wisconsin Badgers. He also swims for Kamehameha Swim Club, and competes in high school forthe Kamehameha School. His top times are 20.97/45.95/1:39.80 in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyles. He joins a Wisconsin team that hopes to move up in a Big Ten that has become loaded in the sprint freestyle events.
