The No. 1/7 NC State men’s and women’s swim teams are set to compete in their final meet before the championship season, as the programs head to the Janis Hape Dowd Carolina College Nike Invitational this weekend.
The invitational will be co-hosted by the University of North Carolina and Duke University, and will run Friday through Sunday. This will mark the final competition of the season for a handful of NC State athletes.
The Wolfpack will compete against North Carolina, Duke, William & Mary, James Madison, Old Dominion, UNC Wilmington, Towson, Florida State, South Carolina and Florida.
Three championship finals will be held in each event, but overall team scores will not be kept.
Last Time Out
Both Wolfpack programs are coming off back-to-back wins, as the teams defeated No. 12/8 Virginia and North Carolina last weekend, sweeping a total of 13 events.
