The 2021 edition of the FINA Diving Grand Prix kicks-off on Thursday May 27, as Montreal (CAN) will be virtually hosting the first leg until May 30.
Four locations at a time will be able to remotely join the competition and screens will be displayed simultaneously, as divers will perform from the comfort of their home pool.
The competition’s schedule of the first leg of the 2021 circuit unfolds as follows:

Friday – May 28
- 10:00 Women’s 3m prelim
- 12:00 Men’s 10m prelim
Saturday – May 29
- 10:00 Men and Women’s 10m synchro final
- 11:00 Men’s 3m final
- 12:35 Women’s 10m final
Sunday – May 30
- 10:00 Men and Women’s 3m synchro final
- 11:15 Men’s 10m final
- 12:45 Women’s 3m final
Divers from Canada, Great Britain and Slovenia have registered to participate. Local clubs to Montreal will also be taking the plunge over the weekend.
The competition will be live streamed on FINA.org, free of charge.
Despite the current context dictated by the pandemic, and recognising the disruptions due to travel restrictions and different requirements and protocols specific to each country, the Grand Prix hosts are finding alternative ways to stage the 2021 circuit. Malaysia, Spain, Germany, Italy and Australia have also voiced their interest in staging one of the legs this year and logistical arrangements are being discussed. Dates will be announced at a later stage.
