Missouri sweeps SEC women’s weekly awards

The Missouri Tigers swept all three SEC weekly awards on the women’s side after their win over Arkansas.

Dani Barbiea was named Women’s Swimmer of the Week after a 4-for-4 weekend on wins against the Razorbacks. Barbiea blasted to a pair of sprint wins, taking the 50 free (23.30) and 100 fly (53.45) and swimming on a pair of victorious Tiger relays.

Rookie Hannah Stevens earned Freshman of the Week honors after winning both backstrokes in the win over Arkansas. She also competed on the 200 medley and 400 free relays for Mizzou, helping the team win both.

Junior Lauren Reedy is the Diver of the Week for the Tigers. She won the 1-meter springboard and took second on 3-meter in that same Arkansas dual meet. Reedy has won three of her four diving events this season for Mizzou.

The conference hasn’t yet released men’s weekly awards; the only men’s program in action this week appears to be Texas A&M, who faced Incarnate Word.
