Michael Phelps To Appear On “Undeniable W/ Joe Buck” Show

  2 Retta Race | December 15th, 2015

The greatest Olympian of all time, Michael Phelps, is set to appear on the show “Undeniable with Joe Buck” on the Audience Network this Wednesday at 8pm Eastern.

The show is a one-on-one interview format, where athletes and coaches reveal details about their life starting out, how they entered the sport for which they’re now so famous and successful, as well as what they’ve learned and what lies ahead.  The show is in its infancy, having just premiered in November with its first guest, legendary New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter.

Phelps’ Instagram and Twitter accounts give a sneak preview into the conversation he’ll be having with Buck, which looks to delve into his childhood rise to stardom, along with a discussion on his recent difficulties, all in the context of who he is as a person and athlete today.

The appearance comes just weeks after the 18-time Olympic gold medalist graced the cover of Sports Illustrated Magazine in an in-depth and raw interview where the star discussed his successes, failures and how he looks at himself as a man going for his fifth Olympic Games.  But, in the televised format, we’ll get to hear from the man himself, whose legendary words have lasting impacts, as highlighted by the sneak peek’s famous MP quote, “If you want to be the best, you have to do things that other people aren’t willing to do.”

The Audience Network is available on AT&T U-Verse and DirecTV.

I appreciated your honesty. It takes a strong person to be public about mental health issues. I hope others are as inspired by your honesty as I am.
