I am delighted to announce that Jane Nickerson has been appointed ASA Chief Executive Officer, effective from 1 April.
Jane brings a deep knowledge of the ASA and our sports into the role, providing her with the insight and experience to help us as we reform our governance and the delivery systems required for the years ahead.
As we focus on the physical activity agenda and increasing the social value of swimming, Jane will lead the implementation of our work on health and school swimming, and building new partnerships to encourage people to enjoy the water. Jane will also continue to ensure the development of our talented swimming, diving, synchro and water polo athletes is prioritised.
This is a pivotal moment for the ASA as we move ahead with the implementation of our strategy, our reforms and our commitment to making swimming and aquatics the activities and sports of choice.
