between swimming and soccer, only committing about four months a year to the pool but still producing solid times in sprint freestyle.
Madie was recruited for both sports, but chose to continue in swimming. She currently holds four school records at Metea Valley High School in Aurora. She also trains and competes with Maverick Swim Club in Naperville, Illinois as high as the Sectional level as well.
Madie says she knew TCU was the place she wanted to swim after here first visit to the school. She felt an instant connection to the team and coaches. She also states that “the campus is beautiful and warm and she can’t wait to leave the cold Illinois winters behind.”
