Hong Kong National Teamer Boris Yang Verbally Commits to Penn

Boris Yang, a senior at King George V School in Hong Kong, has made a verbal commitment to the application Process at the University of Pennsylvania.*

“UPenn provides the perfect balance between top-tier Ivy League academics and Division 1 athletics combined with the awesome leadership of Coach Schnur. I look forward to joining the team and being part of the Penn Quaker family.”

Yang swims for the Hong Kong National Swimming Team and has represented Hong Kong in a variety of international, including the 5th FINA World Junior Swimming Championships, the 8th Asian Age Group Swimming Championships, and the 1st China Youth Games (Fuzhou).

i saw on his collegeswimming profile that he swam a 2:17 (LCM) in the 200 Breast…that’s a very impressive 2 second drop within the span of 2 months!!
