High-Level International Meets For August 2021

The 2020 Olympic Games, postponed from last year due to the coronavirus, have officially seen its swimming competition conclude. That means we’re already looking ahead to what’s next.

In terms of August meets around the world, the U.S. Summer Championships kicked off today, August 3rd, while Australia, Japan and New Zealand also have competitions coming up over the next few weeks.

The Paralympics are also nearly upon us, with swimming action ready to begin on August 25th.

Let me know in the comments of any August meets I may have inadvertently missed.

08/26 – 08/27 International Swimming League (ISL) Match #1
08/28 – 08/29 International Swimming League (ISL) Match #2

Almost certain Duel in the Pool (AUS) is cancelled due to high number of Covid cases (relatively speaking by Aus standards) and cross border travel restrictions between many states making things too difficult for organisers.
