Alina (Bean) Faunce of T2 Aquatics made a verbal commitment to swim for the University of Alabama for 2017-18. Faunce is a senior at Estero High School in Estero, Florida. She was a three-year, Florida 3A State finalist and currently holds high school records in the 100y fly, 100y breast, 200y IM, and is a member of all three record-setting relays.
Faunce, a butterfly/IM specialist and Scholastic All-American, has Summer Junior cuts in both the 200 fly and 400 IM. She ended her summer season medaling at the Atlanta Futures Championships.
