Filipcic Wraps Up Nebraska Divers’ Week at Winter Nationals

Indianapolis, Ind.- Anna Filipcic competed Friday morning at the 2015 USA Diving Winter National Championships in the three-meter dive held at the Indiana University Natatorium on the Indiana University-Purdue University campus in Indianapolis, Ind.

Filipcic was the lone Husker competing in the three-meter dive. Filipcic posted a score of 189.80 earning her a 42nd-place finish in the three-meter dive.

Filipcic was Nebraska’s final competitor at the Winter National Championships. Nicole Schwery also competed for the Huskers, posting a score of 178.55 earning her a 22nd-place finish in the platform dive, Thursday morning.

The Nebraska swimming and diving team will be back in action Friday, Jan. 15, as they travel to Omaha to take on in-state rival Omaha at 6 p.m. The Huskers will return home on Saturday, Jan. 23 for Senior Day as the Huskers host Illinois at the Devaney Natatorium at 11 a.m. Check back into Huskers.com for any and all updates regarding the Nebraska swimming and diving team.
