Apex, North Carolina’s Erin Conroy has made a verbal commitment to swim for the Duquesne Dukes next year.
“I chose Duquesne because it is the perfect place for me to receive an outstanding education, as well as grow as an athlete. The atmosphere that the team and coaches create is something that I cannot wait to be a part of! Go Dukes!!!”
Conroy swims for Apex High School and Raleigh Swimming Association and specializes in distance freestyle. At the North Carolina 4A State Championships last February, she finished 18th in the 200 free and 11th in the 500 free. She also competed in the 100m free and 100/200m butterflies.

Mark my words. This girl has A LOT of potential. Had the pleasure of working with her for a year. She is a classic diamond in the rough. Coachable, strong and a great leader. Great pick up for the Dukes.
