Dynamo Swim Club Names New Chamblee Facility After Coach Raymond Arthur Bussard

On May 9th the Dynamo Swim Club in Atlanta named their new Chamblee Facility after the former head coach of the University of Tennessee Vols, announcing it as “The Coach Raymond Arthur Bussard Aquatic Center.”

Almost two full years of fundraising went into the project which was organized by Ruth Bussard (Coach Raymond’s wife). She went on to cut the ribbon at the grand opening event.

Other coaches were honored as well as the Dynamo Multisport room was named the, “Peter Banks, Richard Quick, and Tim Welsh Multisport Room.”

Some of the new additions to the Chamblee facility include the 1000 sq. ft. Multisport room mentioned above, 7000 sq. ft. of artificial turf for training, an expanded weight room with mondo flooring, and expanded deck space specifically for competition.
