Denver Sweeps Summit League Awards After FAU FUN Invite

Denver’s Andi Johnston was tabbed The Summit League Women’s Swimmer of the Week for the first time in her career, while teammate Adriel Sanes also earned his first Men’s Swimmer of the Week honor. Both clocked strong times in the last meet of 2017 at the FAU FUN Invite.

WOMEN’S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

ANDI JOHNSTON, DENVER
So.  // Fort Collins, Colo.

  • Named Summit League Swimmer of the Week for the first time in her career
  • Won the 500 free (5:06.27) at the FAU FUN Invite
  • Touched second in the 200 free with a time of 1:53.15
  • Helped Denver win 17-of-32 events
