Cooper Lucas had a busy weekend in Austin, including Top-5 finishes in the 200 IM, 400 IM, 500 free, 200 free, and 200 fly. Lucas revealed that this fall, LAC’s training had been a bit scattered because they haven’t had access to their regular pool and have only been able to train 1.5 hours each day.
That’s all our team practices due to boys high school season going on now.
Sorry, replied to wrong comment.
lmao some people have to drive an hour+ to a pool and him “only” training for 1.5 hours a day is treated as an inconvenience
He is a very high level swimmer, and most high level swimmers want/need to train more than an hour and a half per day to maintain form. Don’t make this into something it isn’t. I’m sure Cooper is grateful for the opportunity to train, but it’s not ridiculous for him to want to have a normal training schedule.
Match his accomplishments, you can complain too. Sounds like you have a great story, echoed by so many swimmers that I knew. But has nothing to do with this story.
And ha, and no relation.
Almost like training too much can hurt you🤨
