Miami (OH) Swim & Dive Kicks Off 2016

After nearly a month off from competition, the Miami University men’s swimming and diving team returns to action with a two-meet week. The RedHawks are set to compete against the University of Cincinnati on Wednesday and then face the University at Buffalo on Saturday at Buffalo, N.Y.

Aschan Named Horizon League Swimmer of the Week

Oakland’s Patricia Aschan was named the Horizon League Female Swimmer of the Week on Tuesday after winning the 200-yard backstroke, 200 butterfly and 400 IM against Toledo on Jan. 9.

Williams, Amherst split Dual

In one of the great Division III rivalries, Williams and Amherst faced off last night in Amherst’s home pool. For the women, Williams walked away victorious. On the men’s side, Amherst came out on top with a narrower margin of victory.

BYU Women Sweep Grand Canyon, New Mexico State

The BYU women picked up two dual meet wins over the weekend, defeating Grand Canyon University and New Mexico State University (158.5-140.5). On the men’s side, Grand Canyon swam to a 163.5-136.5 victory over BYU.

San Jose State Defends Home Pool With Win Over Cal State East Bay

The San Jose State women held a home dual meet against Cal State East Bay this weekend. Some young talent was vital to the win, with freshman Marley Maluafti winning the 100 fly (57.95) and 200 fly (2:06.67).
