Vermont Swimming & Diving Announces Schedule for 2016-17 Season
The University of Vermont women’s swimming & diving program unveiled its 2016-17 schedule on Thursday afternoon. The Catamounts will compete in eight scoring meets, including three at home, as well as the annual Boston University Invitational in November.
Peruvian National Champ Magana to Transfer from UVA to Arizona
Peruvian national champion Nicholas Magana, a rising junior in the NCAA, will transfer from the University of Virginia. Magana was a scorer at 2016 ACCs in the 100 freestyle, placing 13th with a personal best 43.56.

Martin Hammer Breaks Norwegian Record With 22.75 In 50 Free
University of Tampa swimmer Martin Hammer set a new Norwegian national record at the Norwegian National Championships this morning. He broke his own record and finished first in the men’s 50 freestyle with a time of 22.75, barely breaking his previous record of 22.77. Hammer set his previous record at the Settecoli Trophy meet which took place in Rome, Italy from June 24-26.
