Nora Deleske, a senior at Edison High School in Huntington Beach, California, has made a verbal pledge to Arizona State University for the 2017-18 season. Deleske is the reigning CIF-Southern Section Division I champion in the 200 IM and fourth-place finisher in the 100 breast. She destroyed the Sunset League record in the 200 IM this year, and has been the league’s most valuable player in each of her three seasons.

Deleske swims year-round for Golden West Swim Club under Mark Schubert. She competed in the 200m breast and 200/400m IMs at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials, but seems to have had relatively greater success in short-course yards.

Her top SCY times are:

  • 100 breast – 1:01.88
  • 200 breast – 2:12.72
  • 200 IM – 1:59.53
  • 400 IM – 4:18.84

Deleske joins Emma Nordin and Erica Laning, who have also committed to the Arizona State University class of 2021.
