Maybe thebtrick to success is to train at NBAC… and then train somewhere else. Like needing pepper to activate tumeric 😉

Seriously Braden, and you are a very serious man, are you shocked by that so predictable record after what we saw from her last summer and especially after the way she led-off Cal 4X200 free relay in 1.42 on day 1?
If yes, then I don’t understand anything. 🙂

I was somewhere between surprised and shocked, myself. In general I don’t like to predict too much because sometimes I just love the surprises. But in this case, in my mind I factored in freshman college academic and cultural adjustment and figured from her mid-season time that she stood to challenge McLean and break her NC2A record, but wasn’t even thinking about it for PAC-12s, only vaguely for NC2As. I saw her recent slow times the last couple weeks and given that she’s a distance swimmer, I figured she would probably pretty much train right thru PAC-12s and start her rest/taper right after.
