CCSA Announces Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving 2011-2020 All-Decade Teams

Men’s Release

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Coastal College Sports Association (CCSA) announced the Men’s Swimming and Diving 2011-20 All-Decade Team as 32 student-athletes were named to the list across seven programs. Two schools led the way with over eight or more selections each named to the All-Decade Team in Davidson (9) and Incarnate Word (8). 

During the decade, four programs captured CCSA Championship titles in Incarnate Word (4), UMBC (3), Davidson (2) and College of Charleston (1). Four different institutions were represented by nine student-athletes who earned the Most Outstanding Swimmer of the Championship title while five divers were crowned the Most Outstanding Diver of the Championship. 

To be named to the All-Decade Team individuals must have competed for at least two years in the decade as an CCSA student-athlete. Exceptions made for NCAA All-Americans. Individuals that obtained one of the following criteria were named to the team; three First Team All-Conference selections in a single event, five total First Team All-Conference selections (including relays), multiple Superlative Award winner, NCAA Championship individual participant.

Two schools led the way with over 12 selections each named to the All-Decade Team in FGCU (18) and Liberty (12). 

During the decade, two programs captured CCSA Championship titles in FGCU (7) and Liberty (3). Three different institutions were represented by nine student-athletes who earned the Most Outstanding Swimmer of the Championship title while eight divers were crowned the Most Outstanding Diver of the Championship.
