Azerbaijani “Euro Games” Preview Unveils Design of 6,000 seat Aquatic Centre

The organizers for the 2015 Euro Games in Baku, Azerbaijan have released a video that shows both some of the country’s historical landmarks, as well as some of the modern stadiums that will form the focal point of the inaugural Euro Games.

This event will be like the Olympics for Europe, and will take over in pre-Olympic years for the European Junior Swimming Championships.

The new Baku Aquatics Centre will seat 6,000 and have a sloped design (see the :55 second mark for the rendering of the centre), and it will be uncontested as the biggest swim centre in the nation situated upon the Caspian Sea.

Thanks to the Azerbaijan Swimming Club for posting the above video on their Facebook page.
