Erin Son has verbally committed to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point for fall 2022. She’s trained with Scarlet Aquatic Club most of her club career, but in early 2021 moved to Arkansas and has been training with the Razorback Aquatic Club Aquahawgs.
I am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to the United States Military Academy at West Point to continue my athletic and academic career. A big thank you to my family, friends, teammates, and coaches who have supported me and helped me come this far. Go ARMY!

At the 2020 New Jersey LSC Senior Championships last February in long course, Son finished top-five in the 200/400/800 free and 100/200 fly. With her 1:04.66 in the 100m fly, she earned a Futures cut.
During the 2019-20 season, Son would’ve been #2 on Army’s roster in the 1000 free and 1650 free and #3 in the 500 free. She would’ve also ranked third on the roster in the 200 fly. Son would’ve been Army’s top scorer in the mile at the 2020 Patriot League Championships at ninth with her lifetime best, and she would’ve been a hundredth off of the B-final in the 200 fly.
Son joins Kira MacMullan and Molly Webber in Army’s 2022 class.
