Swim of the Week is brought to you by arena, a SwimSwam partner.
Disclaimer: Swim of the Week is not meant to be a conclusive selection of the best overall swim of the week, but rather one Featured Swim to be explored in deeper detail. The Swim of the Week is an opportunity to take a closer look at the context of one of the many fast swims this week, perhaps a swim that slipped through the cracks as others grabbed the headlines, or a race we didn’t get to examine as closely in the flood of weekly meets.
Two pairs of siblings came together to make magic happen at the Streamline Aquatics Sombrero Champs on Sunday, breaking a National Age Group Record in the mixed 4×100 freestyle relay.
The Streamline Aquatics quartet featured 18-year-old Bexon Harrison, his younger brother, 17-year-old Will Harrison, and twin sisters Averie and Jaylee Hager, who are also 17.
Racing in a time trial, the Harrison and Hager relay—dubbed the “Quad H relay” by one of their teammates—combined for a time of 3:06.14, obliterating the 17-18 NAG record of 3:08.50 by more than two seconds.
The previous record was set by the Lakeside Aquatic Club (TX) at the 2024 Sectionals meet in Lewisville last March.

Will Harrison’s split of 44.37 was well under his flat-start best of 45.14, set last month at the Sectionals meet in Justin, Texas, and was just shy of his fastest-ever relay split of 44.34.
On the back-half, the Hager sisters, who are both Notre Dame commits, were faster than their flat-start best times, with Averie’s 48.93 leg coming in nearly a full second under her 100 free best of 49.82. Jaylee followed up by going three-quarters of a second faster than her flat-start best (49.90) in 49.15.
“I am overjoyed by this historic accomplishment by these four incredible athletes and people,” said Streamline Aquatics Head Performance Coach Aaron Moran.
“They work hard in the pool and push their teammates to do the same day in and day out. They deserve all the praise they have coming their way for how they carry themselves in pursuit of excellence. Our club at Streamline Aquatics is beyond proud of them!!
“We are incredibly proud of Averie, Jaylee, Bexon, and Will—not just for their performance, but for the way they inspire others with their character, teamwork, and drive.”
“Thank you to the teammates, families, and supporters who helped make this moment so special. And most of all—congratulations to our record-breaking relay!”
