Anthony Ervin, Olympic gold medalist and sprint specialist, continues to innovate, bringing his creative tastes to the swimming community and his fans via new media.
Earlier this fall he launched a successful campaign on Indiegogo to raise funds for his travel expenses on the 2012 FINA World Cup Series. Now he’s partnering with American Apparel to host an interactive music listening session on Soundrop and Spotify.
You don’t want to miss this interactive meetup, Wednesday, at 11 AM PST/ 2 PM EST.
Anthony will be available to chat for an hour while his playlist rolls. The only thing you need to do is have a Spotify account and enter the listening room here at the date and time of the session.
“These platforms generally work with musicians and traditional celebrities,” said Emily White, founder and CEO of Whitesmith Entertainment. “Thus, we’re thrilled that they have agreed to work with Anthony as their first athlete ever. Hopefully this can continue
with additional swimmers in the future.”
You can catch Anthony this weekend where he’s competing at USA Swimming’s Austin Grand Prix.

Keep up the good work Tony. One of the countless reasons Berkeley is such a cool place to live, learn, and swim. Everyone asking why the dynasty is developing in Berkeley – same reason the world-changing research and seminal ideas are – because of people like Tony calling it home. Go Bears
