The 2019 European Short Course Swimming Championships get underway on Wednesday morning in Glasgow, Scotland and run through Sunday.
The event will feature 9:30AM start times for prelims and 5:30PM (17:00) start times for finals on every day of the competition.

While each country can enter up to 4 swimmers per individual event in the preliminary rounds, only 2 per country can advance from there. The exception is that events where there are timed finals (the women’s 800 and men’s 1500 freestyles, to be precise), countries can only enter 2 swimmers. Semifinals will only be held in races that are 100 meters or shorter.
Each country can only enter 1 team per relay event, and the only relays are the 200 free and 200 medley for each of men, women, and mixed-gender categories.
