Alice Peterson Commits to DIII Cal Lutheran University

Alice Peterson, a current high school senior from Millbrae, California, has committed to swim for Division III Cal Lutheran University under head coach Barry Schreifels. Peterson will graduate from Mills High School in spring 2020 and join the Regals’ class of 2024.

Peterson is a current year-round swimmer for the Burlingame Aquatic Club and is a Far Westerns and CA/NV Sectional qualifier.

“I’m excited to announce I’ve committed to swimming for Cal Lutheran University. I look forward to being able to join the team in the fall and being able to contribute to CLU as both an athlete and a student. Go Regals!”

This year at the 2020 SCIAC Swimming and Diving Championships with the Regals, Peterson would have had multiple finals performances with her current best times.

Most notably, she would have placed 14^th in the 200 freestyle (1:57.16) and 15^th in the 100 freestyle (54.47).

• 200 freestyle – 1:57.16
• 100 backstroke – 1:00.94

At the SCIAC Championships this year, the Regals placed 7^th as a team.

Peterson will begin her swimming career at Cal Lutheran University fall 2020.
