What your Post-Season is Missing: The Taper Float (Video)

Ever get to the end of the season and wonder “Am I doing this right?” Are you relaxed enough? Have you visualized your races? Do you feel one with the water? If the answer is no, then we’ve got the answer.

The Taper Float. 

Recently SwimSwam took a visit to Mason, Ohio and sat in on taper with the Mason Manta Rays. At the end of the workout, the kids put their things away, got floaties, and became one with the water. This form of visualization lets you relax and think about your races while you’re actually in the water, letting your body connect on yet another level with the pool… It’s also just fun to kick back and float at the end of practice.
