WEDNESDAY EVENING HEAT SHEETS

Wednesday night’s finals session will feature the “D,” “C,” “B,” and “A” Finals of the women’s and men’s 100 free and 400 IM. The top-16 qualifiers from heats this morning will be present in their respective lanes, with two exceptions. Trojan Swim Club’s Vasilissa Buinaia, who qualified 12th for finals in the women’s 100 free with 56.57, and Indiana Swim Club’s Finn Brooks, who was 13th in the men’s 100 free with 50.98, scratched out of their respective “B” Finals.

Taking Buinaia’s spot in the women’s “B” Final will be Aria Grossenbach of Patriot Aquatic Club, who was 17th this morning with a PB of 56.68.

Brooks’ absence in the “B” Final of the men’s 100 free negated the need for a swim-off between Schroeder YMCA’s Ben Meulemans and Pleasanton Seahawks’ Tim Wu, who both went 51.12 this morning to tie for 16th place.

None of the top-16 qualifiers in the women’s and men’s 400 IMs scratched.
