Austin, Texas’ Nick Carlson, who swims for Westlake High School and Lost Creek Aquatics, has signed an NLI with the Indiana Hoosiers. Carlson is a two-time Summer Juniors qualifier in the 100, 200, and 400 freestyles and a two-time qualifier for Winter Juniors in the 50, 100, 200, and 500 freestyles.
Carlson placed third at last year’s Texas 6A State Championship in the 200 freestyle. His best times include:

In addition, Carlson has split a 21.06 50 free and a 45.27 100 free on relays. It took 20.1 in the 50, 44.5 in the 100, and 1:37.7 in the 200 free to score at 2015 B1G Championships.
Carlson has twice earned USA Swimming Scholastic All American honors. He will join Alex Vissering, Chris Quarin, and Jackson Etter in the Indiana University class of 2020.
