Several National Records Set At Carlos Campos Sobrinho Trophy Results

The Carlos Campos Sobrinho Trophy otherwise known as the Brazilian Juvenile Championships went this last weekend with many national records coming tumbling down.

The competition was separated into two age groups Juvenil 1 (15 yrs) and Juvenil 2 (16 yrs) and all competition took place in a 50 meter venue.

Records day 1

  • Andre Augusto dos Ajos – Juvenil 1 – Boy’s 100 backstroke – 58.11
  • Brandonn Pierry Cruz Almedia – Juvenil 2 – Boy’s 1500 freestyle – 15:49.41

Brandonn times were Champs Records, but not PB, he is not swimming tapered because he is focusing on the Pan Pacs Qualifier and for his first “adult” medaL. he is already 4th overall on 1500 with his 15:30 from May and he wants to medal on that event agains the adults…
