Manhattan Makos Announce College Commits

Manhattan Makos, a club team based out of downtown Manhattan in New York City, is proud to announce its second-ever class of seniors committed to swimming in college.

Alexa Code: Wesleyan College
Jack Fergus: Amherst College
Miles Hamberg: Connecticut College
Jasper Jurman: Queens University of Charlotte
Griffin Taylor: Boston College
Sophia Taylor: University of Hawaii

This is the Makos’ second graduating class. Last year’s graduating class included:
Maia Hare: Williams College
Sophie Herring: Columbia University
Holland Rhodd-Lee: Wellesley College

“So far 100% of graduating Manhattan Makos athletes have gone onto collegiate swimming, covering Division I, II and III colleges. These athletes started our team seven years ago and many of them we taught how to swim since four years old here at Imagine Swimming. Being an student-athlete in downtown New York City is no easy task, but their accomplishments in and out of the pool have been outstanding. We’re very proud of them and know they will accomplish great things at the next level.” – Head Coach Elliot Ptasnik
