The Towson Tigers women’s team has added two divers to their high school recruiting class of 2015: Emilee Torres from Dallas and Victoria Zozzaro from New York have both committed to join the program next fall.
Torres comes from Southlake-Carroll High School, a program renowned for producing some of the best swimming talent in the state of Texas, and the GC Divers Club.
“The main reason I picked Towson was because the team was like one big family and I admire that,” Torres said. “It wasn’t two separate teams like I’m used to. Aside from the family-like team and excellent coaching staff, I also picked Towson because of the reputation it upholds for its academics.”

Zozzaro comes from New York state, and is a three-time New York State Championship qualifier. She placed 7th at the state meet last year, and says that she’s shooting for a top three finish at her state meet this coming weekend.
“After visiting Towson University and meeting with the swimming and diving coaches and team, I felt right at home and knew it was the place for me,” Zozzaro said. “I feel certain that the coaching staff at TU will help me reach my goals as a diver, while being a part of a supportive and energetic team.”
