Men’s 200 Freestyle – FINALS
Michael Phelps has always been an animal underwater, using his walls to his advantage. He is out way faster than this morning. This morning he was out at 54.0, compared to his 52.47 tonight. Yannick Agnel had a huge final 100, winning the race with a huge time of 1:46.99. Michael Phelps finished second with a 1:48.20. Michael Wynalda won the B-final of the men’s 200 freestyle with a time of 1:50.47.
I think he has the potential to be the best freestyler of all time-well maybe behind Thorpe but one of the single best 100-400 guys ever, especially if he could sweep the 200 and 400 and medal in the 100 in 2016 & beyond
The very good news for NBAC : they love training together ; this gives them the strenght to go through tough times and embrace the fun moments easely !
Yannick has a very good english accent ! Rare for a french LOL
1.46.99 is a very good time in June ! damn
He’s an intellectual of the sport.
He loves reading and he loves philosophy as well.
For swimming , one needs way more than intellect abilities to compete at a High level . He is very smart , loves racing and has a positive attitude in life + in the pool !
J’adore Yannick! I think his goofy attitude (along with that of Schmitty) is having a positive mental impact on Phelps, who seems so much looser since his comeback.
Also, thanks, Yannick, for making me feel better about my own raccoon eye goggle sunburn marks.
Yannick is a racer.
What a great guy! The more I find out about him the more I like him. And I totally feel his pain about last winter here in the northeast US because I was begging for a drop of sunshine too!
