Madison Graham of the Dynamo Swim Club in Atlanta has committed to swim for the Tennessee Volunteers in the fall of 2016. She is primarily a sprint freestyler, backstroker, and IMer.
She follows in the footsteps of her dad, who swam for the Volunteers from 1979 to 1983.
Graham is the second legacy commit in Tennessee’s incoming class of 2020 – Spence Atkins’ mom Tillie (Patterson), is a former Tennessee record holder in the 100 fly.
Graham’s Best Times (in yards):
- 100 free – 52.13
- 200 free – 1:53.09
- 100 back – 55.91
- 200 back – 2:03.64
- 200 IM – 2:03.83
“I chose Tennessee because of the outstanding academic opportunity and swim program,” Graham said. “I felt at home with the team immediately and I know the coaches and program as a whole will push and help me reach my goals as a swimmer and as a person. I can’t wait for the next four years, go Vols!”
Graham just wrapped up her senior year at the Pace Academy in Atlanta, Georgia, and will join Tennessee’s incoming freshman class next fall.
She’s a multi-time finalist in Georgia’s high school 1A-5A State Championship meet and comes out of the Dynamo Swim Club.
Congratulations Madison. May your dreams continue to come true. Happy for your family as well. Go Vols.
This is great on multiple levels… great folks, great legacy, great school, great coach, great program. Here’s wishing Madison an inevitably great experience as a Lady Volunteer!
