University of Cincinnati Doubles Up With Wins At House of Champions Invite

INDIANAPOLIS – University of Cincinnati swimming once again took home the title at the House of Champions hosted by IUPUI as the event came to an end on Sunday evening.

The women won the event by a final score of 1568.5 while the men worked their way up the leaderboard to win with 1578 points.

// PODIUM FINISHES
• The final day started with Rocky Laabs winning the 1650 free (16:41.91) with Sydney St. Rose-Finear coming in third
• Tyler Jones earned a win in the 1650 free (15:23.07)
• In the 200 back, Jaclyn Klimczak put forth a second-place effort
• It was a Bearcats sweep in the men’s 200 back. Joey Puglessi won (1:46.22) with Conor Lynch and Dominic Polling coming in behind him
• Maddie Exton had a second-place finish in the 100 free
• In the 200 breast, Dalton Lillibridge took home the win (2:00.09) with Zach Baecker placing second
• Jordyn Ryan was third in the 200 fly (2:01.64)
• Michael Balcerak was first in the 200 fly with a time of 1:46.12). Parker Saladin was third
• Exton, Claire FarrellLina Kutsko and Abby Johnston finished the day with a second-place swim in the 400 free relay
• The men also finished second in the 400 relay, thanks to performances from Polling, Murat SagdullaevAlberto Garcia and Balcerak
